Instructions for Mac OS X:
- Click on the "To-Do Stickies" application menu.
- Click on "Enter Serial Number..."
- Enter your Serial Number and Name exactly as they appear in your registration Email.
Instructions for Windows: - Click on the "File" menu.
- Click on "Enter Serial Number..."

When To-Do Stickies saves a file it creates a record of where that file is located. It does this so that it can automatically open the file then next time To-Do Stickies is launched.
Each file saved with To-Do Stickies has this option to be opened when the application is launched. (See under "File" menu) This makes keeping track of a daily To-Do List very convenient, since you can simply launch To-Do Stickies and your note files will automatically be opened.
Files can also automatically be saved by To-Do Stickies when the application quits. You can also specify the default save location for new files. To see all the options for auto-save and auto-open please look in the Preferences area. (To-Do Stickies » Preferences)
If a file is moved to another disk or to a different location its possible that To-Do Stickies will be unable to locate the file. You will be prompted to find the file if this is the case. If you wish to remove the missing file from To-Do Stickies file database you should "Remove" it when prompted. Or you can also use the "Remove From Menu..." menu item to remove notes from the file database. (Notes » Remove From Menu).
All files created with To-Do Stickies have the following file extension: ".tdxml"
If you unable to locate a file or a file you created is no longer opening as expected you can search for .tdxml and hopefully locate the missing file. |
