We are hard at work on the next version of CBLite.  The main focus of this next version is Scripting.  We will be introducing RB script into dice rolling and also as a general purpose way of extending the features of CBLite.  Scripting in CBLite will be focused on three different elements:
   • Dice Scripts
   • A New Scripted Dice Button
   • A Scripts Menu For Executing General Purpose Scripts
 

Huh? Google makes a battle board for Role Playing Games?  Well, not really—not specifically for that very purpose, no.  However, that is the beauty of some of the web apps that Google has made—they can be adapted to other uses beyond their intended purpose.

Updates about the progress on CBLite have been sparse lately.  This is both good and bad.  First The Bad.  Summer is always a busy time of the year.  Additionally, there were some unforeseen circumstances that help exacerbate the situation.  Austin and I just couldn't find the time to work on the project between work, family and other duties.

The Good: Recently in the past few weeks Austin has suddenly found time to spend on CBLite every day.  Out of a feeling of obligation I have tried to match the time that he is spending.  So, each of us has been working on CBLite every day for the past few weeks. We have been so busy working on the project that we have kind of forgotten to update everyone on our progress.

Progress has been slow as always, however, we are preparing to release version 2.2 of CBLite with some nice new features.  Some of these feature will include:

Every so often while working on a project or playing a game in OS X my Finder windows get messed up.  I guess you could say I have a bit of OCD, but I like my Finder configuration. And when it gets changed or messed up it drives me crazy.
